With somewhat different characteristics than the holy basil or sacred basil that we have dry, Thai basil is distinguished from our Mediterranean basil by having a less spicy and much more fruity flavor, a mix between mint and lime, which gives the dishes the contrast of the spiciness of curry, the sweetness of coconut milk or the umami of fish sauce.
Once opened, keep in the refrigerator or in individual frozen packages if we do not use it too frequently.
