Riojan joy J.Vela. Alegría Riojana is a variety of chili pepper native to the autonomous community of La Rioja, red in color and with a shape similar to the piquillo pepper but smaller in size. They receive this name because of the "joy" it brings to the palate due to its spiciness.
They are used to accompany meats, tortillas, sandwiches or other dishes. Ideal roasted and made into strips with olive oil and a little salt.
Ingredients: spicy chillies and acidulant: citric acid.
