Thai seasoning to make a soup based on unripe tamarind , sinigang sa sampalok , 40g makes 2 liters
Sinigang is a soup of Filipino origin based on fish stew, although it can include vegetables and pieces of pork, or it can be made without anything or only with pork. In reality, the base of the dish is the acidity provided by unripe tamarind or sampalok
With the 40g from the sachet you can make up to 2 liters of base for said soup, you just have to dissolve it well, bring it to a boil, add the vegetables, meat or fish-seafood that you want and let it chup chup for about 10 minutes in medium-low heat without bringing it to a full boil
It is quite similar to tom yam, sayur asem or Vietnamese canh chua
