Mochi is a Japanese pastry made from glutinous rice that can then be filled with multiple things, in this case we have chosen anko, red bean paste made from aduki, a type of bean mixed in equal parts with sugar.

The first impression, without trying it, when hearing a sweet rice and beans is one of those things that impresses, however, when you decide to be brave and try it, it hits you, it is sticky, sweet, difficult to chew, however it causes addiction.

Now it is more common to have tried it, with anko, with green tea, with chestnuts or chocolate but it is still one of the most requested products, whether this format or asking us for the recipe to make them homemade

These are smaller mochis than the traditional daifuku or those that come out as a result of the traditional mochitsuki, mostly because we don't want anyone to have to try the Heimlich maneuver.
