Lemongrass, lemongrass, lemongrass and many other names is a very common plant in South Asia, very common in their kitchens. It can be purchased whole (the stems) or chopped and is used as a condiment in soups, curries, marinades and, due to its multiple virtues, taken as an infusion.

With a lemon-like flavor, it differs in being much less acidic and having a certain bittersweet aftertaste. It combines perfectly with any type of poultry, fish, beef and seafood, and in some African countries such as Togo it is used to make tea or in the part of India closest to Mumbai it is added to the same tea to help fight colds or congestions.

Once opened, it is recommended to store in a cool and dry place, it may contain traces of mustard, gluten, sesame seeds.
