The chipotle chili , which means smoked, is a variety of chili that has been marinated, allowed to dry and mature, leaving it wrinkled and smaller than in its original state.
In the gastronomy that we can find it most is, obviously, Mexican as an accompaniment to cakes but it is not its only use, it is usually used to make sauces and whose best-known dish is chipotle chicken, although personally I prefer meatballs with said dip
It is not a very spicy chili, on the Scoville scale it is at a level with Serrano, Tabasco or Cayenne.
