Tamari is the purest soy sauce that can be found since it takes years of fermentation and its ingredients do not include wheat similar to the other tamari that Kikkoman sells but of higher quality.
With a pronounced and strong flavor but not at all salty, it is recommended for dipping sushi, making base sauces such as teriyaki or yakitori or for tataki.
